Remarkables Ice and Mixed Climbing Festival

Trip type:
Mountaineering
Difficulty:
Hard
Start date:
Friday, 11 August 2017 - 6:00am to Sunday, 27 August 2017 - 10:00pm

Jai and I will be heading across the ditch to Queenstown, New Zealand for some ice and mixed climbing.

The climbing festival takes place 17 -20 August. Jai and I will head over a week early.
Anyone interested in joining us is very welcome but would need a climbing partner.

We are happy for people to contact us with an expression of interest so that we can then put them in touch with anyone else who is interested to see if they want to make up a rope-team.

Please note:

This is a self supported trip in that you would organise your registration and transport to the festival yourself and then meet up in Queenstown.
Each rope-team will have to be independent, self-sufficient and self-reliant and will have to make their own independent decisions. That means, each rope-party will be fully responsible for themselves: their decisions, actions and the resulting consequences!

There won't be any supervision provided by the 'trip leader'. Basically, each team needs to have their own trip leader.
