Dates updated based on expected packraft availability.
There is some interest in hiring a few packrafts for a weekend in October or November and running a few trips using the set of hire fees.
Proposed structure of the weekend would be:
Friday - paddle on the lake with packrafts and kayaks for boat familiarity.
Saturday - Small runs on the murrimbidgee or similar. A chance to give everyone a go.
Sunday longer full day trip doing a hike/raft somewhere close to canberra.
This is an expression of interest only at this stage as dates will depend on weather and raft availability. The club is offering a subsidy for raft hire which could be used, but I imagine there would still be cost to each participant for each trip.
Please let me know if you are comfortable running and coordinating trips if you are expressing interest because I don't want to run anything sith white water.
