Mountaineering Skills Practise - crevasse rescue

Trip type:
Mountaineering
Difficulty:
Easy
Start date:
Monday, 4 December 2017 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm

This training session is for mountaineers wanting to practise crevasse rescue techniques. (It is preferred that you know how to rope-up for glacier travel before attending this training session.)

To attend this session you will need your: harness, prussics (short and long), locking and non-locking carabiners, maybe spare slings, your climbing ropes (if you'd like to practise with them, otherwise we can train with normal climbing ropes) and whatever else you use in your crevasse rescue kit (tibloc, micro-traxion, etc.).
