Frost plain foray

A last minute, 2 night trip to explore some of the the rarely visited frost plains in northern Kosciuszko. 

The trip will be a mix of on track and off track walking. There will be creek crossings and bushbashing, with a hefty dose of navigation thrown in. 

This trip is best suited for people who have done some overnight bushwalking and don’t mind being a bit wet and cold...

There will be warm huts at the end of each day.

If you haven’t walked with me before please give me a brief outline of your bushwalking experience when registering.

$30 per person.
Intended plan: 
Walk along Alpine Creek trail to Witzes hut and then on to zing it ridge, Hains hut, cross the Murrumbidgee, up Peak back ridge or through dairymans plain. Night 2 at Gooandra or on the plain.
Local knowledge: 
The trip leader has walked extensively in the area and has been to all places listed.
