Bruce Ridge mountain-biking

An afternoon mountain ride of Bruce Ridge (near O’Connor). We will ride beginner tracks.

When you register please indicate your cycling experience. 

You need to have your own bike that can handle off road terrain. Bike hire is not available.

The tracks are suitable for beginner mountain bike riders.

The tracks have a few obstacles including logs and rocks. There a few moderate climbs and descents. I will send out a gear list. You need a helmet.

This trip may be cancelled due to wet weather conditions or if the park is closed.

Risks

Risks associated with mountain biking include falling off and/or riding into obstacles such as trees and rocks resulting in abrasions, cuts, sprains, broken bones, concussion and other serious injuries or death. Riding can be physically demanding and completed in remote locations and varying weather conditions, which could lead to dizziness, heat stress, dehydration, sunburn, blisters, insect bites or hypothermia. Travel to and from bike tracks could involve collisions with other vehicles.
