An easy overnight pack raft trip on the Goodradigbee river. The Goodradigbee is a mountain stream on the boarder of Brindabell National Park. A relatively easy class 2 river it is suitable for first time pack rafters who are otherwise experienced campers or paddlers.
The plan is to put in at the Flea Creek Campsite Saturday Morning and spend the weekend paddling through to Wee Jasper.
Pack rafting is a little different to other types of overnight trips. The trip has the potential to be quite cold as we will be sitting in water for extended periods of time, there may be rain and the water is not the warmest. The trip may also be slowed by having to go around fallen timber which is an unknown.
Please let me know a bit about your overnight camping experience and your paddling experience. Depending on participant experience and water level we can change to the Murrimbidgee river. A decision to be made closer to the weekend.
Pre trip Thursday 6:00pm at the boat shed where we can test inflate the pack rafts and grab dry bags.
Please also indicated if you have a car you are willing to use. We will need an additional one to mine for the shuttle.
