SKY WHALE TIME!

I have just heard that the skywhales are going to fly on April 3rd. If you are like me and have never seen the famous skywhales in the air, this is the trip for you!

Meeting at the sheds at 5:30am (PLEASE, DO NOT BE LATE), we will get on the water as quickly as we can and paddle out to old parliament house. Some festival for the skywhales is starting at 6am and they will be inflating and lit up in fancy colours (which will be pretty cool). They should fly at around 6:30-6:45. Once the skywhales have drifted off we will paddle back to the shed and will back by/around 7:30.

This trip is super weather dependent, but it will still run even if the skywhales are only going to inflate and stay on the ground!

Bring warm clothes that you don't mind getting a little splashed, A HEAD TORCH (and an extra torch or bike light to attach to the boat if you have multiple torches), a phone or camera (in a waterproof container and with a way of attaching it to the boat so it doesn't fall in), a gold coin donation, water and a breakfast snack as we will be out on the water for a little while.

See you all down there!
