White Water Kayaking Trip this Saturday!

Easy white water paddling trip on the Murrumbidgee this Saturday for both experienced paddlers and those new to white water or wanting some practice. If more experienced paddlers sign up who are happy to help out then there will be more opportunity for people to learn. More experienced paddlers will then continue on to the Red Rocks section of river.

When you sign up please indicate if you have a car & how many boats it can transport as we may be limited by transportation.

You must be comfortable in a kayak and a strong swimmer (I’d suggest wearing a wetsuit if you’re not confident you won’t swim, the water will be cold). Please let me know your paddling experience when you sign up.

We’ll meet at the Boat shed at 9am this Saturday to load boats and then head to Pine Island for some practice on the water before completing a run down the river from Point Hut.

Depending on the conditions and the level of experience available in the group, some members will continue on to run Red Rocks, while the less experienced will practice at Pine Island and/or another run from Point Hut (if experienced people available to assist).
