Come and try rogaining at the ACTRA* O-Week Rogaine in the beautiful Black Mountain Nature Reserve! There will be $50 Mont Voucher for each winning category and 2x $25 worth of spot prizes (i.e. even if you find yourself lost the entire time, you might still win free money).
*ACTRA = ACT Rogaining Association
What is rogaining?
For those that don't know what rogaining is, it is a little bit like orienteering but you get to plan the route you take, and there is usually food during/at the end. Watch this video for more information:

How to sign up?
You will need to form a team of 2-5 people to sign-up. There will be a stall at market day for sign up. It will be free for students and $5 per non-student in your team.
What to bring?
Comfortable clothes for walking/running. Sun protection. Water. A compass might be useful but not necessary.

The ANUMC will be helping out with control collection after the rogaine on Saturday 18th Feb. If you would like to help out please sign up to the help-out trip in the trip calendar. This would be a good opportunity to hang out with other rogainers in the club and prastice navigation.
