When doing so, remember to specify the desired size (S/M/L/XL/XXL for men, 8/10/12/14/16 for women) and colour (green/blue/orange for men, green/orchid/geranium for women). If you change your mind, make sure I'll be aware that your choice is different from the first one I received.

Kayaking Skills #2 - Queanbeyan Pool

It's on again. Join us at the Queanbeyan Pool for some essential kayaking skills training. These sessions are for all paddlers.  If you are a beginner, these sessions are for you. Priority will be given to those who attended the first session on Tuesday 2nd  March. This is a chance for all to get into your favourite kayak and improve your skills before you head out on your next whitewater or sea kayaking adventure. This is not a formal course and there is no certification. We will practice essential paddling skills. Over 5 sessions you will improve your command of your paddle and kayak.

TRIP LEADERS WANTED!

O'week is a fantastic opportunity for up-and-coming Trip Leaders to run simple, low risk activities to showcase what the ANUMC has to offer.

Come-and-Try sessions are short taster activities which can be run at convenient times throughout the week to motivate new and prospective members.

To run a session just add it to the Trip Calendar, noting:

Title. Call the activity “O’week Come-and-Try – [ACTIVITY NAME]”. This way we can distinguish O'week activities from other activities.

EOI Sufferfest. to the coast and back

Ever wondered what your body is capable of achieving under the hot summer sun?

Join me for a 2 day ride just for a swim at the beach. We will carry nothing but a bivvy, hammock or tent, snacks and electrolytes, sunscreen and a LOT of water. 

Camp location will depend on Covid hotspots, dinner and open campsites. the route will be off-road (gravel, CX, Hard tail or touring bike preferable)

Bushwalking - Settlers Track

Settlers Track is a bushwalking track in Namadgi National Park which takes you through a range of ruins from the early days of the ACT.

The walk takes 5 hours total, and is about 2 hours from Canberra.

We will meet at 8am at ANU Sport. Aiming to be back by 6pm-7pm, but depends on how long we take.

If you have a car, please indicate this when you sign up, including the number of seats available. We will split fuel costs equally - estimating about $10/person.

Target is 5 people, but may be able to accept more or less depending on interest received.
