The plan is to go to Mt Alexandra (just outside of Mittagong) and sports climb. There are good number of routes graded from <10 to >20, so there is probably enough for most people to do in one day.
There are no real costs involved other than petrol. It is about a 2hr drive to Mittagong, so it'll be about $75 per car, split evenly. There is space for some beginners on this trip, although final numbers will have to reflect a ratio between beginner and experienced sign ups, so some beginners may unfortunately miss out.
You will need (most can be hired from gear store): helmet, harness, belay device, locking carabiner, climbing shoes, walking shoes, food and water (it might be hot, so bring lots!) for 1 day. When you sign up, please include your climbing experience (if any) and if you can bring a car.

The plan is to meet at ANU gym at 8am on Sunday morning. We'll do a full day of climbing aiming to be back in Canberra by 8pm. There will be no pre-trip. You can hire stuff from the gear store on Saturday morning if needed - be there by 7:45am. (Bring $5 cash to pay for hire.)
Leave from SRA 8am, climb for 8 hours, return to Canberra around 8pm.
