Walk from Orroral tracking station to the summit of Mount Bimberi to see sunrise. Start at walking just before midnight to complete the 25 km and 1500m vert to the summit in time for the 7am sunrise. Have some breakfast and walk back. Should be back at the cars by about 2pm. The walk follows fire trails and the Australian Alps Walking track. Based on the same trip last year it's about 52km and 2000m vert total. https://www.strava.com/activities/125037574 https://vimeo.com/90437029.
If it looks like the weather will block the sunrise we'll delay the trip.
In the additional details section please give some sense that you know how far/hard this is and that you are comfortable starting such a walk.
The trip will be limited to 8 people.
