After the inaugural meeting of this illustrious club of canyoneers we call upon all spirited adventurers to aid the establishment of a long-lasting tradition of regular happenings.
Do you enjoy partaking of some of the colder things of life? Do you still find your tastes just aren't being met by wading through lukewarm water during a hot summer day? Did you always wonder why people would prefer to huddle around a cockle stove when one has the opportunity to enjoy a fine chilled canyon? Well then, honoring the second meeting of Lucky Adventurer Club with your presence may be just what you're looking for.
Our second meeting shall be held somewhere in the Blue Mountains, at which members will (again) be pausing to sip fine whiskey, indulge themselves in an exquisite cheese fondue and light up a Cuban.
For those among us who are more sensitive to the elements of the crisp days of the year, fortifying hot beverages will be served to warm their hands and strengthen their resolve.
Should you wish to join us (again) in our musings on philosophy, world affairs and heroic adventures; and should you have dreamed all your life about enjoying the invigorating chill of a canyon; and should you agree that there is no such things as a 'canyon season', be sure to register for this event.
Please take note that joining this event requires an intermediate to advanced level of canyoning experience. It is not suitable for those who just recently discovered the joys of this delicate pastime.
The number of people who will be able to participate depends on how many leaders/ co-leaders will partake in this adventure of unknown proportions. Signing up does not guarantee that you will be able to come along.
Drive to campsite on Friday night, which will be our base camp.
Canyons (all abseiling canyons):
Sat: Windows (start canyon 6:30am - 5:30pm); dry canyon
Sun: Galah (start canyon 6:30am - 5:30pm); semi-dry canyon
Mo: Coachwood or Death Trap (start canyon 7am - 2pm); semi-dry canyon and wet canyon, respectively.
