The ANUMC requires a Guiding Principles Document for Kayaking. The document will address matters that include the role of the Kayaking Officer, information to be included in the trip description, the skills of participants and emergency response planning etc. The purpose of the document is to guide leaders and participants to ensure that their trips are well planned and that they run smoothly and safely.
The purpose of the meeting is to enable interested people to contribute to the development of this document. So if you enjoy paddling a kayak, critical evaluation and eating pizza - this one's for you.
So all hands on deck for this one. I sense that there will be a strong correlation between the quality of the resulting document and the number of pizzas consumed........
To avoid the distractions of pub brawls, excessive drinking and merriment and broadcasts of numerous sporting events on nearby large screens, I am offering my place for the venue - in so doing we can be certain to avoid the first distraction.
Venue: 38 Nungara Place Aranda ACT. Time 6:30pm
