Archived trip from old website run by Jen_B
Depending on your experience, this trip is either relatively easy canyoning or a challenging and watery bushwalk!
The trip involves heading into the Tuross River gorge and starting with a slip down the natural rock water slide. Then we'll continue down the river climbing over and around boulders, down small cascades/rapids, negotiating slippery rocks, and swimming through pools with high stone walls all around.
After a few hours we'll reach the spectacular Tuross Falls, but we won't abseil down the falls on this trip. After checking out the views, it's a very steep and exposed scramble back to the track and then an easy walk along a trail back to the car.
We recommend a wetsuit for this trip. It will be important to attend the pre-trip meeting to make sure you have all the right gear.
You also have to be able to swim 100 metres comfortably.
Please let me know how much rock scrambling you have done in the comments section when you sign up.
