Archived trip from old website run by joshbax189
Priority will go to people who have attended the come and try sessions at the gym
This years BME visits that ferny gem in the heart of the Blue Mountains: Mt Wilson- Woooo, finally!
That means loads of canyons in easy walking distance of camp. As an added bonus, this year some kind-spirited folk have volunteered to shepherd gaggles
of unwilling victims (i.e. you) through the most wonderfully primordial, abyssal chasms in the greater Sydney region.
Act now! Don't miss your chance to horrify your health insurer with stories of precipitous drops, hypothermic chattering and water dragons-- sign up today!
It will be cool :D
Abseil gear will be provided (Helmet, Harness, Abseil device, Biners, Canyon Pack)
Please bring:
-Wet suit (optional if you are tough and/or foolhardy, email Josh if you need!)
-Thermals, top and bottom
-Soft soled shoes, volleys are best K-mart ripoffs work too.
-Waterproof container or bag for lunch
-Towel and spare clothes (leave in the car or back at camp)
If you are waitlisted, please make sure to sign up to another trip that you are not waitlisted for, or you may be having a lazy day in camp by yourself!
If you have any questions, get in touch. Also, don't forget to sign up to the main trip; and only sign up for one beginner canyon trip initially.
