Archived trip from old website run by Ivan Dovana
Due weather, this trip has been moved to this new date 7May.
The Bungonia Slot Canyon (near Goulburn) is a river gorge with cliffs towering 200m up on either side. It is a difficult walk with steep entry and exit tracks and a boulder field the size of buses. Abseiling is not required but participants will have to be fit and agile. You should expect to have to wade in waist deep water at certain points.
The plan is to follow the Red Track and, if time permits, push on down stream to the Shoalhaven River, returning via the White Track.
