This is a second call to all kayakers - salt water, fresh water, flat water, white water, warm water and freezing snow melt to join a working bee this coming Saturday morning. We will be making the last few fixes to the kayak trailer. We will also look over our fleet of kayaks to effect any necessary repairs. I'd like to invite people who have or wish to learn skills including knot tying, plastic welding, template application, metal cutting, grinding, drilling, sanding, filing, coffee making and story telling (chatting). I'll supply the coffee and machine as well as some enticing eats to encourage you to shake off that hangover and do something for the greater good. Register early (by midday Friday) for catering purposes. Bring tools if you have them - drills, spanner sets, metric allen key sets and ear and eye protection. We should complete the anticipated tasks in about 2 hours.
