Well who's for an easy-mpderate day trip close to canberra with a little bit for everybody?
From Wanniassa, we'll head to Boboyan Road where we will take the track to Boboyan Trig which apparently has some lovely views of west Namadgi. We will then head cross-country following a creek line to the old Boboyan Fire trail, with the option of a detour either cross-country or on track to Frank and Jack's hut. We will then return to the fire trail and walk to the car park at the head of the old bobyan road. There will be great views, some getaway nature, a plain or two and some creeks.
The trip should be 10km - give or take - with a 400m ascent, descent, ascent, descent.
To do the trip we will need 2 cars to do a car shuffle to make the walk work.
Also, you will be taken if you do NOT have a rain jacket or you intend to wear jeans. Please contact me if you need gear or you have not done bushwalking before. Or for any other questions! Smiley face.
Take walking track to Boboyan Trig. Head down creek line on west to plain and hit old boboyan road fire trial. Head North and perhaps take detour to Frank and Jacks Hut either on track or cross if can. Head up old boboyan road to ACT Forest Hut. To car.
