Beautiful, deserted beaches, more wildlife than you can shake a camera at, and even a chance to see some whales. What's not to love?
The Lighthouse to Lighthouse walk in Eden's Ben Boyd National Park is one of the most iconic walks in the NSW south coast. The best part is you don't have to carry stuff: the campsite is in the middle!
Plan is to drive down to Saltwater Creek campground on Friday night. Saturday, we do a car shuffle to get up to Boyd's tower on the North end and start the trip. From there its a 13 km walk along coastal wilderness back to camp. Next day, we'll do another car shuffle to get a car down to Bittangabee Bay, and can walk the second trek down to the next campsite.
This trip is a good first overnighter, because we can set up camp on Friday and leave our tents and heavy food at camp.
Note that this trip is contingent on getting another driver to help with the car shuffle. Ideally we can get 3 cars, so that our 10 people can fit in 2 to save lots of time each day.
