Soaring Eagles, Kangaroos, wild dogs, homestead ruins and interesting Aboriginal rock art. See it all on this easy half day walk along the grassy Rendezvous creek trail in Namadgi National Park.
The Plan:
We will leave Canberra around 7am and arrive at the start of the walk an hour later. We will make our way along the trail with the occasional off track side trip until we reach the site of the rock art. We will take a less direct route through the valley on the return to the cars. We should be back in Canberra around 2pm.
If anyone is interested, we can go over the basics of navigating with a map and compass.
Trip requirements:
- Rain jacket - You will not be attending if you don’t have one with you!
- Water
- Snacks
Transport and pre trip:
I will drive one car and it would be greatly appreciated if someone else could drive another. Please let me know if you can. There will be no pre trip meeting for this walk. I will send an email with all the details a week before the trip.
Registrations will open after Easter.
