A relatively easy off track walk to explore the granite tors and caves along the Orroral Ridge in Namadgi National Park.
The plan is to park at the carpark at the end of Orroral Ridge Road, and head first south east to the Belfry, then back to the carpark. From there we will head north west to Legoland, try and find Opera House Cave then on to Sentinel Rocks and Trojan Wall, all interesting granite features. If time permits and people are keen we may continue along the ridge to the tor marked at 754615 on the Corin Dam map. Expect some light scrub with most walking on foot pads. Also to be expected are fabulous views of the Orroral Valley and granite features of the ridge.
Total walking distance is likely to be between 7 and 11 km depending on if we continue along the ridge. Some slight undulations but no significant climbs or descents. As such this walk is suitable for keen beginners who don't mind the idea of off track walking.
