Now that the snow has fallen it's finally starting to feel like winter! 'Tis the time to be out in the mountains and enjoying the freedom of 100% human powered skiing. You might even find some fresh pow if you're lucky.
If you're interested in finding out more about AT skiing then come along to a short info session where we'll be showing you what an AT set up looks like, how to adjust bindings, how to care for the club's gear and discussing general safety. If there's interest we can also pull out some maps and discuss places to go. Note that before you use the club's AT gear you will need to attend one of these sessions to demonstrate that you know how to set up AT bindings properly. We'll run a few of these sessions over the next month so don't worry if you can't make it to this one.
I'll bring some snacks for the evening so please sign up for catering purposes.
We'll meet at the gear store on Tuesday 26 June at 6:30pm (please note the time change) I don't believe there's much heating in the gear store so wear warm things! (This is also good practice for being out in the snow)
