Yo, so I know it's ages away but this is the first weekend I've genuinely had off in two months. Wow.
Anyway. I want to go tackle Dodecahedron at Tianjara and make a weekend of climbing out of it, I know there's a free campsite at Nowra so I'm suggesting Tianjara one day and then Nowra the next.
You'll need to at least know how to tie-in and lead belay for this trip. I may have space for a couple of absolute beginners if enough experienced people come on the trip. Space may also be limited by the number of cars so if you have a car and are willing to drive that would be great!
You'll need to bring your own:
Harness, Shoes, Belay device, Helmet, sling (or other personal safety), and 2 x locking carabiners. You can hire these from the gear store prior to coming.
You'll also need your own camping equipment:
Tent, sleeping mat/bag, cooking stuff etc. (again you can hire this from the gear store).
I'll provide ropes and draws (and shit banter).
If I haven't climbed with you before please detail your climbing experience in the comments.
Women/non binary encouraged to apply, I want ya'll out there! :)
Peace, Verity <3
Drive to Tianjara from Canberra, spend the day climbing there then set up camp at Thompson's point campground.
Climb all day Nowra then drive back to Canberra that night.
