Hi all,
This is a trip for climbers of any level, wile it isn't essential to have climbed before you will get the most out of it if you have climbed indoors a few times. the plan is to leave ANU sport (ourside the grounds) at 11am on Saturday so as to miss out on the morning sun and climb for most of the afternoon. we will likely be back at ANU before 8pm but just incase don't plan anything directly afterwards.
You will need to a Helmet, harness, belay device, locking carabiner and climbing shoes. These can all be hired from ANUMC gear store open 6-6:30pm Tuesday and Thursday. It would also be a good idea to pack food and water for the day. I must stress that you will not be allowed on the trip without a helmet and harness.
Wickerslack crag is located just south of Queanbeyan (about 30 minuets drive from Canberra). here is a link to the online guide https://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/river-crags/wickerslack-crag
