Hello,
Due to the original WCI Workshop having a ton of signups, we're splitting into two workshops.
SATURDAY will be for climbers who have been outdoors before, and are keen to push their skills on some harder climbs.
SUNDAY will be for climbers who haven't been outdoors before, and need to learn how to use an ATC for the first time, learn their figure 8 knots and get a feel for outdoor rock.
If you can't make your skill's respective day, feel free to hop in the other but please please make a special note in the comments section about this.

This is a follow on from our introduction to outdoor climbing workshop for beginner women/non-binary climbers.
We'll be doing a mixture of top roping at Snake Rock, which has climbs from grades 3 to 26. https://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/gibraltar-peak-and-corin-road-crags/snake-rock
Leave ANU sport at 8am and be back mid to late afternoon.
You must bring a harness, climbing shoes, helmet, belay device (ATC or GriGri) and a locking carabiner. These can all be rented from the ANUMC Gear Store open 6-6.30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring plenty of water and food for the day.
You MUST have a current belay pass and be confident and proficient at belaying indoors. We will be using ATCs, which allow no room for error.
Space is limited by the number of cars so if you have a car and are willing to drive that would be great! Please mention this in the comments so I can open up more spots.
If you could also PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE COMMENTS, as I may move this to a different crag based on numbers and experience levels.

This trip is run under the Women's Climbing Initiative (WCI), a group for women/non-binary people who are interested in climbing. We are a sub-group of the ANU Mountaineering Club (ANUMC). https://www.facebook.com/groups/ANUWCI/
