Participants will be notified of their attendance by Monday the 23rd of September
Undulating hills, beautiful snowgums and stunning views. This will be a fun and easy paced overnight walk to one of my favourite mountains in the high country.
The trip:
Distance – 16km each day
We will park near Wolgal hut at Kiandra and head up Dunns hill along the Australian Alps Walking Track. We will stop in at the lovely Four Mile hut for a break and then continue on to Tabletop and explore the mountain. Depending on the weather we will camp on the protected northeastern side of the mountain or head toward Broken Dam hut. We will return the same way on Sunday with a possible side trip some old gold mine diggings.
There will be sections of snow on the track as well as some areas of snow melt.

The fine print
If the weather looks bad, I will cancel the trip. The cancellation may happen as late as the morning of. Please keep this in mind when registering. Unfortunately, this is the nature of any trip to the high country.
For those of you who have not walked with me before, please give me a brief outline of your bushwalking experience and fitness level when signing up.
Pre trip and transport:
We will have a pre trip meeting the Thursday before the trip so we can go over the plan and organise gear. I will send around a list of things to pack for the trip prior to the meeting.
