From the ANU campus, walking along the Centenary Trail, we will top Black Mountain and arrive at the National Arboretum. Along the way, we will traverse at least 5 different types of forests, encounter a range of Australian native flora and a few stunning tree species from overseas, like Himalayan Cedars and Cork Oaks, which belong to the Arboretum's Collection.
Meeting at ANU Sport (in front of Coffee Grounds cafe) at 7.30am. Return by 12pm to join the ANUMC BBQ.
What to bring:
- Comfortable shoes (runners or hiking shoes)
- 1-2L Water
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable clothing
- Snacks

Meet at ANU Sport 7.30am. Walk along section 5 of centenary trail, through botanical gardens, top of black mountain, aranda bushland, cork oak forest, Himalayan Cedards lookout & back.
