Join me for a fun overnight bushwalking trip to the Snowies where we will have the opportunity to practice some basic navigational skills. Over 2 days we will tackle 4 mountains, roughly 25km, and a myriad of amazing views!
We will start from Guthega dam, and head up a reasonably steep hill to the Guthega trig point. From here, it's a relatively flat trek to Consett Stephen Pass and on to Mt Tate. Depending on time and how we're feeling, we will continue to Mt Anderson, and set up camp somewhere to watch the sun set!
On day 2, the goal will be to tackle Mt Anton and possibly Mt Twynham, with a possible brief adventure down to Blue Lake if time permits. We will then head back to the Snowy River, cross over near Illawong lodge and make our back to the car at Guthega.
*Please note that as this bushwalk is all off track, the ground is quite uneven and we will be tackling a reasonable amount of elevation gain*
Upon registration, please include the following:
- your previous bushwalking experience
- if you have a car and are willing to drive
