Hi folks,
For those not going on Ivan's Ultra-Rad Coast Safari, I propose an equally exciting alternative: Kambahrah day climbing. The crag is Kambah Rocks - probably 20 mins walk from the Kambah pools car park. It is all top-roping and offers a great intro to Canberra-style rhyolite. Everyone must bring their own personal rock-climbing gear - shoes, harness and helmet - or hire from the gearstore this Thurs @ 18:00. There is plenty of loose rock around so the helmet is a must. This trip is beginner friendly but I would expect everyone to have done a belay course and be comfortable giving a top-rope belay. We'll meet at the Kamba pools carpark at 1PM and plan to stick around for a few hours (until everybody is suitably wrecked). There will not be a pre-trip for this one.
Look forward to seeing you all there !
