Leave ANU sport at 7am, drive to Charlotte's pass after a coffee break in Jindabyne. Walk the track and have lunch on the summit. Aim to be back in Canberra by early evening
What better time to get some nice fresh mountain air? The plan is to leave from ANU sport at 7am, drive to Charlotte's Pass and do the 19km return summit walk. Despite its being the tallest mountain in the country, the walk is actually pretty gentle and suitable for beginner bushwalkers who have a reasonable level of fitness.
Bring sunscreen, 2L of water, food and some warm clothes since it can get pretty cold eating lunch on the summit.
When signing up please mention whether you are willing to drive. I'm only able to take 3 more people
