Itching to get your fingers on some stabby, pointy little granite crystals? Of course you are.
The plan is to hit up Pandemic sector at Pierce's Creek; it has tonnes of sweet looking beginner grade boulders up to v3: https://www.thecrag.com/en/climbing/australia/pierces-creek-bouldering/area/3729186723
This will just be a chill morning session, planning to leave ANU sport at around 8 and head back by early afternoon when our fingers start sweating too much.
Note:
Spaces totally dependent on cars and number of experienced climbers. Need another driver, I've only got 1 passenger space when I'm packing mats.
If it's raining we won't go.
Some climbing experience needed.
You need to be comfortable with the idea of falling off of a rock onto a limited landing zone, but outdoor bouldering experience isn't necessary for this trip.
You will need:
Climbing shoes (hirable from gear store)
Chalk
Water and lunch (plenty of water)
If anyone can bring a bouldering mat please do.
When you sign up please detail your level of climbing experience if I haven't climbed with you before
Boulder for the morning at Pandemic sector at Pierce's creek, come back shortly after lunch.
