We will be going to climb the sick sea cliffs of point perpendicular for the weekend. The plan is to leave early on Saturday morning. Climb for the rest of the day and half-day Sunday. Leave on Sunday to be back by about 7pm. To come on this trip, you need to have competent trad leading skills, so unfortunately beginners will be unable to come on this trip. In saying that, if (as a beginner) you can find a confident trad leader who is happy to climb with you, then by all means sign up for the trip.
Participants should bring their own helmet, harness, shoes and belay device w/ locking carabiner. Additionally, participants should also bring tents, sleeping bags, packs and enough water/food for 2 days. I will be hiring out ropes, draws and trad racks from the gear store. It will also help if some of the participants could bring a trad rack or two as well.
If I've not climbed with you before please describe your experience when you sign up.
There won't be a pre-trip meeting, any extra details will be ironed out over Facebook chat.
Please do not attend the trip if, in the last 14 days, you have travelled to a hotspot, been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19, or have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms yourself.
Leave for the point perpendicular on saturday. Climb Saturday and half day Sunday. Camp at honeymoon bay campground. Leave to come back for Canberra on Sunday.
