This trip aims to explore the Grade 2 rapids on the Murrumbidgee off Nanangroe Rd, Childowla (90 min west of Canberra).
This is an intermediate white water trip, if you have never paddled in a white water kayak in moving water and rapids, this trip is not for you.
We'll need at least four paddlers and a couple of drivers with roof racks to make this viable. Please indicate your experience and ability to drive when signing up.
The plan is to meet at the boatshed at 7:30am, collect gear and head to Childowla via Bookham. To save time (and the early start) we may collect gear on Saturday.
The aim is to finish by 5pm for return to Canberra.
In addition to gear from the boatshed please bring:
