The third in a series of outdoors climbing trips on Thursdays. This time we'll be headng to Mount Alexandra in Mittagong (pending weather).
This trip assumes participants have some experience in outdoor sport/lead climbing. That being said, we may have room for one or two newer climbers, subject to our discretion/the ratio of experienced to unexperienced climbers. If you're unsure about what this all entails, chuck me a message.
Plan:
Leave ANU sport at 8am on Thursday, drive two hours to the area and climb into the afternoon.

Pre-Departure:
Due to time constraints/regularity, there will be no pre-trip meeting. Because of this, anyone attending will have to make sure they have access to the following (whether hired from the gear store beforehand or personally owned):
- Helmet
- Harness
- Climbing Shoes (If you know your shoe size before hand it will really help)
- Personal Safety Sling
That being said, let me know if you have issues accessing gear.
What to bring:
- Approx 1.5L of water
- Snacks
- Warm layers
- Hat + Sunscreen
- Climbing Chalk (if you have any)
- Your brightest smile
Sign up:
Please indicate your level of experience and which gear you'll need to hire when signing up. Also let us know if you have a car, as this trip is dependent on getting enough drivers.
In line with our covid-safe policy: do not attend if you're feeling unwell, have flu-like symptoms, have traveled internationally or been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
