Please provide an outline of your experience in the response box if I have not been on a trip with you. If you don’t do this, I will cancel your registration. Numbers will be based on the number of cars.
Beginners are strongly encouraged to join up, but I am not a guide. I will sort out group gear and will hold a pre-trip to make sure everyone is aware of what the trip will involve, but you are responsible for your own safety and ensuring you have the appropriate equipment and ability.
Title
Corang Arch Hiking
Difficulty and Experience Needed
Easy. Previous day-walking experience preferred, but overnight experience is not necessary.
Description
- Corang Arch is a great introductory overnight walk in the Budawangs with great views!
- The plan is to do an out-and-back walk to the Arch and camp at Canowie or Burrumbeet Brook.
- The walk is about 24km in total, and we will travel about 12km each day, which will take about 4 hours.
- The walk is all on trail and there isn’t any significant elevation gain or loss on the walk.
- You will need moderate fitness and some previous day-walking experience to be able to complete the walk. I have done this walk before and will navigate
- Depending on the levels of enthusiasm, we can also travel further each day too
- There are no toilets at the campsite
