Trip leaders are still welcome to sign up, regular participants can too but will be put on a waitlist
Like a soggy phoenix rising out of the Bendeela Campground mud, the second attempt at a Kangaroo Valley Extravaganza will happen at the start of the mid semester break (September 2-5)
For those who don't know, we typically run a large, beginner friendly camping trip where members can try kayaking, climbing, canyoning, hiking and mountain biking. Unfortunately it was rained out at the start of this year, but fingers crossed we can make it happen this time around
The plan is to head to Kangaroo Valley on Friday Night, do our various day trips Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and head back Monday evening. We'll make a "tent city" at the Bendeela campground where we'll stay each night. Beginners are more than welcome, as are more experienced members. If you're confident in some of the activities and interested in practicing your outdoor leadership skills, you can still sign up as a trip leader - just indicate this in your registration.
Please let us know in your registration whether you have a car and are willing to drive, and whether you'd be able to tow the boat trailer.
IMPORTANT:
This is a big trip and takes a lot of time and effort to organise. If you sign up and are no longer able to go, this is more than ok but please let us know as soon as possible.
