We will depart from ANU Sport at 7.30am to the nature reserve via the lightrail + some walking, tentatively arriving there by 8.30am and back to ANU by 1.30pm.
Bushwalk across 5 hills at the Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve located in north Canberra. The loop is about 11km long with 420m elevation gain at most, which will take around 4hrs to complete (including short breaks in between). Will be following the trail for most parts but there will be a few off-track paths.
We will depart from ANU Sport at 7.30am to the nature reserve via the lightrail + some walking, tentatively arriving there by 8.30am and back to ANU by 1.30pm.
Perfect if you are new to bushwalking but wanted something (just) slightly challenging!
Please bring:
- A bottle of water (1L should be sufficient)
- Some snacks for morning tea
- Hiking boots are good to have, but not a must
