This is a joint trip with the Caving Club, being led by Andrew from ANUMC and Rowan from NUCC (and with some help from me).

Trip participants must be at least intermediate canyoners - no first timers please. Preference will be given to people who are known to the trip leaders or who otherwise contribute to club activities.
We will leave Canberra in the afternoon/evening on Friday and camp somewhere in shouting distance of Mt Hay road near Leura (site TBC), which is close to the entrance for both canyons. (We want to avoid the traffic snarls that have recently opened up near Mt Victoria because of a recent and highly inconvenient road closure.)
Please note that both canyons involve roped-up climb outs with some exposure. The climbs may involve delays if we are behind other groups - especially in Butterbox, which is quite popular. So we will aim to start early and move fast (as usual).
