**We can possibly take on an extra 2 people, provided that another person has a car!**
Depending on the weather, we plan to head out from Guthega for a day of AT ski practice. We will park and ski out from Guthega, heading out over the dam wall to ski the face south east of Gill's knob, left after crossing the footbridge, sticking to the flatter terrain. We will return back to the cars in the early afternoon and return to Canberra.
This trip requires intermediate skiing ability and intermediate fitness. Participants should be have outdoor experience in terms of knowing how to dress for being active in cold weather (waterproofing, layering, no cotton, spares) and what to pack for a cold day hike (food and so on).
We are all (minus Mark) trying to brush up on our skills to lead further AT trips down the line.
Leaving Canberra early (~5-6am) we will drive to Jindi and collect Mark E. The 4 of us will then drive to Guthega in mark's car, park and ski out to the footbridge. After crossing the bridge, we will follow Guthega Creek south, sticking to the flatter terrain.
