The plan is to go to Tianjarra and get some climbing happening. There are good number of routes graded from <10 to >20, so there is probably enough for most people to do in one day. We will be toproping, but if people are interested and demonstrate appropriate skills and attitudes, there may be some opportunity to practice leading as well.
You will need (most can be hired from gear store): helmet, harness, belay device, locking carabiner, climbing shoes (optional but very useful!), appropriate clothing for weather, food and water for 1 day. When you sign up, please include your climbing experience and if you can bring a car. Signing up does not guarantee a spot on the trip - this depends on the experienced to beginner ratios. There is space for one or two people who have not climbed outdoors before, dependent on number of experienced signups, however all participants must have at least climbed indoors.

There will be no pretrip. Plans will be made via email.
Leave from SRA 8:30am, climb for awhile, leave before dark, return to Canberra around 8pm. Safety contact will be notified on the exact crag within Tianjarra (probably Indian Head or Huskinson Homo). Coleaders: An Ran.
