Rogaining: the sport of long distance cross country navigation. Rogaines are generally day and night events in which teams of two to five members travel entirely on foot, navigating by map and compass. Teams normally select their own order of visiting checkpoints. Events range in time from 6 to 24 hours. Teamwork, endurance, competition, and an appreciation of the natural environment are features of the sport.

The popular summer twilight rogaining event returns to Mt Ainslie and surrounds for 2018. Hash house will be located on the SE side from the Campbell Park Offices carpark. Come join us for the first rogaine of the year, a little light exercise and a snack afterwards. There will be challenges for all, with a good track network for novices and younger/older folk and some classic peaks for those of you on the fitter side.
Please note, in the event of a total fire ban day being declared, this event will be cancelled.
