This trip is part of Taya's Ultra-Rad Coast Safari. You must also sign up to TURCS here.
We'll head up to Nowra (much closer than Point Perp) for a fun day of thuggish sport climbing. The exact crags will be decided closer to the day.
I'm able to accommodate a few less experienced climbers (but you must at least have a belay pass or know how to belay). The number of beginners will depend on the number of experienced climbers, so if you aren't self-sufficient (that is able to lead and clean a sport route by yourself) you should consider your registration as preliminary.
Also, there aren't many easy climbs at Nowra, and they're apparently quite sandbagged. Beginners may find they struggle a bit.
Beginners will need to bring the following gear (which can be hired from the gear store): harness, helmet, climbing shoes, and a belay device (if you already have one)
Please include your climbing experience (grade you're comfortable leading at, and whether you can clean a route) and what gear you can bring in the "additional information" section when signing up.
Climb at a crag at Nowra. Crag to be decided later.
