Located about an hour drive from the campground, Pigeon House mountain (also know as Didthul) is aa lone peak in the Morton National Park. Didthul provides stunning views of the coast to the east, and the Castle to the west. The walk is very steep with some parts serviced by stairs and ladders. In other words you've got to like hills.
We'll aim to depart fairly early from the campground so that we have at least 4 hours available to do the walk. Walkers must have:
- Sturdy shoes
- Clothes for adverse conditions (hot and cold)
- Hat and sunscreen
- Water (at least 2L)
- Lunch
I will bring first aid kit and navigation equipment. Please indicate if you are able to drive participants from the campground noting that the drive from Milton to Didthul is on dirt roads.
