We will drive back from the Blue Mountains to Canberra with a detour to Kananga Boyd National Park and a spectacular cliff walk to Kanangra Walls. The walk begins at Kanangra Walls car park and it is a 2hr (5km) return walking. It takes us across the relatively flat and open Kanangra Walls plateau from the edges of which we’ll get great panoramic views. The walk provides awesome views of a deep gorge (Kanangra Creek) surrounded by massive cliff lines. We'll have lunch and retrace our route back the car park and continue the drive home to Canberra. We hope to get back to ANU about 5pm but could stop for a dinner in Goulburn.
Gear: Hat, sunscreen, raincoat, lunch, snacks and 2L water.
