Walk from the Namadgi centre up to the summit
Plan
We will walk the Mt Tennent walk departing from ANU at 9am for the Namadgi visitor centre . The walk is part of the Australian Alps walking track. Mt Tennent is 1275 m high and offers specular views. It involves a 783 m ascent to the summit and is a 14 km return trip.
Gear
You will need:
Lunch
- at least 2 litres of water
- snacks
- rain jacket
- money for drivers
- sun protection.
This trip is suitable for fit beginners. It is completely on track.
Please provide a description of your fitness and past bushwalking experience when signing up. Past experience isn’t a requirement.
