Hello everyone !
I am planning on going to Tasmania from the 10th to the 23rd of february (dates flexible to +- 1/2 days if necessary). We would go down to melbourne in one go and hop on the ferry to start the day after. I am driving my campervan down there so I have 3 seats available on the road to melbourne and then 1 seat during the roadtrip (happy to accomodate the first one who would like to join as a passenger, sharing fuel expanses). So other people joining may want to rent a campervan or bring their car + camping gears for the trip. I have a two gas stoves in my camper, as well as a sink and a small shower. I am happy to share these stuff with everyone.
Broadly, the plan will consist of discovering tassie as much as we can while doing sport & driving 1 to 3h every day! Sports are likely to include hiking, lake/sea kayaking, recreational fishing, mountain-biking (a town is famous for that), trailing, climbing -if someone has the necessary knowledge cause I haven't done any outdoor climbing-, and so on..
I have done a few road trips before and knows the van lifestyle pretty well.
For any further details, do not hesitate to contact me !
We'll drive pretty much every day but not more than 3h. We'll go from city to city to explore the most we can in the short period of time that we've got. Focus will be made on landscapes, coastline etc.. and not especially on visiting the cities themselves, although we probably will sometimes.
Further plan will have to be discussed with people interested in joining, so don't lose time and contact me asap if you're interested
