I am going to the Blue mountains for the Australia Day long weekend. We will leave Friday 24th and return Monday 27th.
Campsite TBA. It's likely that we will stay at a commercial campground in one of the towns. I don't think any of the free campsites have reopened following the fires.
I'm interested in climbing at Sublime Point, Mt Piddo and Catch the Wind area. There may be possibility that other people can climb elsewhere (depending on the group).
There is scope for beginners on this trip, provided there are some experienced people happy to help out. Signing up does not guarantee that you will attend.
When signing up, let me know what climbing experience you have and whether you have a car.
There will be no pre-trip. Organisation will be done via email. If you want to lead climb and don't have the gear, you will need to hire gear (ropes, draws, etc.) yourself from the gear store, pending my approval (since trip leaders are technically required to hire the ropes).
We're staying here (Blackheath Glen, Megalong valley):

In event of an emergency, in first instance contact someone on the trip. They should have up to date info about our plans. Saturday most will climb at Mt Piddington. Some climbers will also be at Sublime Point. Sunday and Monday crag locations at TBD.
Contact details are in Google spreadsheet linked in the safety details (for privacy reasons).
