Join me for a relaxed overnight trip to the main range of Kosciuszko national park!! We'll take it slow, and literally stop to smell the flowers, observe rocks, and soak in the scenery. The views on this walk are going to be absolutely stunning! I hope to do a lot of painting on this trip and take time to make detailed observations of the rocks and plants on this walk :) Maybe we can even do some yoga on this trip!
here's a link to maps with my proposed route marked in:

This amounts to approx. 8km on day 1 and 9km on day 2.
Here's a link to a nice geological map of the region if you're interested:

I'll send you a packing list and more advice once you sign up!
Depart ANU Sport at 7am on Sunday morning. Drive to Charlotte's pass (2 hr and 40 min drive). Walk to blue lake, then the sentinel. Set up camp near the sentinel and spend the night there. The next day, in the morning we may take a trip to Watson's crag if we have the energy and then we will walk back to charlotte's pass, and drive back to Canberra. Depending on how we are feeling, we can also to stop at Cooma to observe some more interesting rocks!
