O’week Come-and-Try – Kayaking at Lake Burley Griffin”

Come and join a beginner-friendly kayaking session in Lake Burley Griffin. This session is open to new and future prospective members.

Please bring a gold coin donation, sunnies, water and a hat. Feel free to bring some snacks and soft drinks as we will stop at the Springbank island to watch the sunset.

Kayaks and gear will be supplied.

We will meet at ANU Boat Club: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Cxb9KvGNtdYfGgwk8 at 6:00 pm where we will get to know each other and run through the basics of lake kayaking.

We will finish by 8:00 - 8:30 but will paddle for 45 minutes to an hour. If it is raining that day, the trip will be canceled/ postponed.
